Frequently Asked Questions

  • Cocco’s Gelato is Philadelphia-based, small batch gelato company with a focus on local pop-ups, event catering, and wholesale gelato and sorbetto.

  • We are family owned and operated. Matt has been making gelato for 15 years (and Jenica has been eating it for much longer).

We had a gelato cart at our wedding. We know how special that is. Jenica will partner with you and your venue to make sure Cocco’s Gelato is a seamless and memorable part of your wedding, party, or corporate event.

Matt has worked in the restaurant industry since he was old enough to bus a table. He knows that you need a consistent product and reliable delivery from your wholesale partners. He loves to get creative in the kitchen and can customize any flavor so that it fits perfectly on your menu.

  • We don’t. We intentionally focus on gelato catering, wholesale, and pop-up events.

To find where we’ll be next, check our pop-up schedule or follow us on social media.

We love being able to serve gelato all over the Philadelphia area.

  • You’ll find our gelato at pop-ups in the Philadelphia area with our gelato cart, or by the pint at our wholesale partners.

Everything you need to know about our pop-up schedule and pint locations can be found here.

  • We sure do!

We wholesale 2.5 or 5 liter pans of our gelato & sorbetto to restaurants & gelaterias. We wholesale pints for resale to markets & restaurants.

You can select from our extensive flavor catalog or work with us to customize your own gelato or sorbetto.

  • For wholesale, we currently deliver within the following areas:

    • Bucks County

    • Montgomery County

    • Delaware County

If you’re outside of those areas, we may be able to accommodate your needs with a minimum order requirement.

  • Yes, we offer full-service gelato catering. You can find everything you need to know here.

Our Italian-made gelato cart is perfect for weddings, parties, and corporate events. We can offer up to 6 flavors of gelato or sorbetto and can accommodate events up to 500 guests.

  • Travel within 20 miles of Philadelphia is included in our catering pricing.

Events beyond that radius are absolutely possible, with a small travel fee applied based on distance.

  • Our full-service gelato catering includes:

    • Our signature gelato cart

    • Unlimited gelato & sorbetto for your guests

    • Cups, spoons, & napkins

    • Setup, service, and cleanup

We take care of everything so you don’t have to think about it.

  • For weddings and peak-season events, it’s best to book as early to ensure availability. We only have one gelato cart, so popular dates fill quickly, especially during Spring and Fall wedding seasons.

We have a few more dates available for 2026 and are starting to receive bookings for 2027.

  • To ensure a smooth setup, our gelato cart and attendants require a flat surface with a minimum area of 5 x 7 feet.

If you'd like to include the bicycle attachment for that added charm, we need 5 x 11 feet of space.

For indoor events, we require a stair-free entryway that is at least 38 inches wide.

Please let us know if the cart will need to travel through any tight turns, ramps, or elevators so that we can confirm access ahead of time.

  • We take food allergies seriously and do our best to minimize the risk of cross-contact.

Between batches, we thoroughly clean and sanitize our equipment and follow careful preparation practices. However, because everything is made in a kitchen that handles dairy, gluten, and nuts, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from allergens.

If you or your guests have specific concerns, we encourage you to reach out ahead of your event.

    Opposites attract, I guess.
